Election time: Will your candidate work for reform?

By November 5, 2012September 27th, 2013No Comments

With the election near, we hear more and more from candidates about what they will do to create jobs, protect economic progress and increase access to health care. But it’s important we know where our candidates stand on the one thing that directly impacts all of these critical issues – lawsuit reform.

Legal reform works for Texas.  Because of the strides we’ve made, employers want to locate here, resulting in more jobs and a stronger economy. We’ve added 732,000 private sector jobs over the past 10 years – seven times more than any other state.  And our common-sense legal climate is attracting record numbers of new physicians to Texas.

On November 6, voters will select who will represent us during the next legislative session…and many will be completely new. It’s our job as educated voters to make sure our candidates know that protecting lawsuit reforms should be a top priority.

Are your candidates willing to protect lawsuit reform and fight against attempts to roll back these reforms in Texas? It’s time to ask them.
