LOCAL LEGAL WATCHDOG LAUNCHES RADIO AD PLAYING OFF FAUX FACE-OFF BETWEEN TEXAS AND CALIFORNIA

Austin, TX- Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse (CALA) of Central Texas launched radio spots today on the faux face-off between Texas Governor Rick Perry and California Governor Jerry Brown, who’ve engaged in a recent exchange following Perry’s overt, up-front campaign to lure California jobs to the Lone Star State. While this exchange has often been humorous, the radio ads describe the serious importance of legal reform, and the positive effects it has had on the Lone Star State. It also contrasts these effects with the current legal climate in California.

“High taxes, excessive regulations and an abusive legal climate. These are no laughing matter,” states the radio ad. “Legal reform works, and with our strong economy and rock solid job growth, who’s smiling now?”

“These series of witty ads, playing on KJCE Radio in Austin, serve as a direct message to entrepreneurs in both the Golden and Lone Star States,” said Jennifer Harris, CALACTX spokesperson.

“If you want a business climate in which you can risk your capital and place confidence in a fair, predictable legal system, Texas is the place to be,” Harris said.
