Last week, Toyota announced that it is moving its North American headquarters from California to Texas. The move will create more than $300 million in capital investment and bring some 4,000 jobs to the Lone Star State. Toyota joins a long list of companies who are leaving states that are plagued by lawsuit abuse. Labeled the number 1 “judicial hellhole” in America, California continues to see its businesses leave in droves because of costly litigation and over-suing.
